VAER Upcycled is a Copenhagen-based sustainable footwear brand built around circular design. They source discarded textiles—denim from non-profits, deadstock workwear, and hotel tablecloths—within Northern Europe. Assembly takes place in a family-owned factory near Porto, Portugal, with fair labor practices. Through their Re:Wair Take-Back Program, returned sneakers are shredded and molded into new soles, keeping materials out of landfills.
