These kicks are light on your feet, comfortable and made in a timeless design to ensure they keep your outfit fresh for years. This colourway is made together with Europcar Germany, from their worn uniforms, and is therefore only available in a limited amount.

VAER Upcycled is a Copenhagen-based sustainable footwear brand founded by Lili Dreyer and Emma Diehl. The brand's name comes from the Danish word for 'value' (værdi) and the verb 'to be' (vær), reflecting their mission to see worth in post-consumer materials. VAER operates a closed-loop manufacturing model: discarded textiles are sourced within Northern Europe (denim from non-profits like Salvation Army Denmark, workwear and linens from industrial textile services), then designed and cut in Portugal to maximize yield and incorporate original features. Assembly takes place in a family-owned factory near Porto, Portugal, where workers are paid above minimum wage with capped hours, healthcare, and permanent contracts. At end of life, customers can return sneakers through VAER's Take-Back Program; returned shoes are shredded and molded into new soles via the Re:Wair initiative, keeping materials out of landfills.
