These sneakers are crafted from discarded workwear and hotel tablecloths that would otherwise end up in landfills. Each pair is assembled in a family-owned factory in Porto, Portugal, where workers are paid above minimum wage with fair conditions. The outsole incorporates recycled rubber from shredded post-consumer sneakers, and the laces are made from recycled cotton sourced from Italy. When your sneakers reach the end of their life, you can return them through VAER's Take-Back Program to be shredded and molded into new soles.
